Unfortunately Martin, you cannot rewrite history.

As unspeakable as it was, Germany cannot erase the Third Reich.

The memories of Francois Duvalier would have faded, however, if his successors have done better.

After Duvalier, we started to forget what we should have remembered and, dangerously, went back to the atrocities, assassinations, cult of personality we have criticized.
