One of the reasons I've decided to build a database for Haitian music lyrics is to encourage the haitian community go out and buy haitian CDs

I figured once you read the lyrics and realise how beutiful it is and how the words relate to you, you would go out, buy the CD and sing along.

When an artist is inspired, makes a sacrifice, and puts an album out, we should support them by buying the CD. Not the bootleg ones or downloading MP3s online.

I am not saying I am against it (MP3), I am saying the market is very small, and I am doing what I can to help

That's one of the reasons you will not find any MP3 files in any of the Haitian websites owned by Fouye!
