Not too long ago my friends and I we went to a foreign conference, As I shared my struggle with them they do the same as well some of them from Africa some from other country which i choose not to mentioned.

i was telling them how they forced us to speak or use a language that not even ours and in the other side we neglect our own language which creole, they shared the same struggle with me, the thing is, we dont want to admit it but it's true on est sous la domination de la langue francaise, point final.

a lot of time i pretend that frech is my native language y do u think a lot of us do dat becuz we dont have dat much on our own to be proud of so french is becoming our main resource or power or something we can lean on, i mean dnt get me wrong french it's a beatiful language but not ours hope someday avant la venue de christ dat we can make peace with those thing we been struggle with.

i never learned creole when i was in haiti, mwen apran'n li kounya, kounya mwen ka ekri ansyen kreol la ki sanble ak franse plis ke novo a c pa dificil a apran'n depiw gentanko'n li anpil fwa, le map ekri kreol sem lan dim koman ou fe ekri li san ere paske mwen renmen lang manman'm ak papa'm gran'n mwen pa pale franse sim pale an franse avel li pap konpran' sa fem realize c yon lang nou adapte pa lang pa nou li ye, e li tap pi bon si nou konsidere fe lang kreyol la rekonet plis tankou gro ekiven nou pa selman ekri an franse men kreyol tou.

ke bondye beni nasyon sa.

4 da luv i have 4 my parents i dont know i have 2 always cherish my heritage even though there's not not much to be proud of
