There will be a response from the Dominican side; I will be contacting several Dominican senators and deputies to propose the following in a tit-for-tat response:

1. Prohibit foreign currency remittances to Haiti (Haitians send about 750 to 900 million dollars annually to their country), or charge 25% tax.

2. Strictly implement the labor law that prevents more than 20% of foreign workers in Dominican companies, with emphasis on the tourism sector, construction, etc.

3. Apply a tariff to use ports for the landing of goods imported by Haiti from other countries.

4. Charge a tax/penalty to the Republic of Haiti for each illegal Haitian found in Dominican territory.
