PaleDous.com - "Official Home Of Haitian Cinema" Community Catered for Cinéastes Ayisyen

Hey I just found a new online forum created specifically for Haitian Filmmakers and it's BEAUTIFUL.

I don't know if it's a foreign/blan effort yet or from Lakay because I haven't been on there for more than a day. I just found it yesterday, I'm not even a member yet, but it looks like the direction behind the forum is to build a community catered to Haitian Filmmakers.

Here's a quote I got from the forum:

"Welcome to the official beloved home of the Haitian Cinema Industry! Where filmmakers in and around the Haitian community gather and assemble "Tèt Ansanm" to experience the Haitian Renaissance and create cinematic history."

One of the staff members said PaleDous was in a "Alpha Stealth Launch" meaning they "haven't fully launched to the PUBLIC yet".

Although this same member also said the forum is welcoming anyone and everyone wishing to join and partake.

I just wanted to pass this on because I've been dreaming of a site like this for the Haitian Cinema Industry for a very long time and it has finally materialized itself yesterday! A site where there's a large community of Haitian filmmakers creating a reliable resource and knowledge base for our Industry.

The only problem I have now is that its still brand new so the community is very small, you can only discuss so much with a small crowd.

So I'm passing this info on to friends, family, and anyone even remotely related to Haitian Cinema.

Lol I truly don't have the patience to wait for the full official PUBLIC release especially now that I know this secluded community exist AND when they're accepting everyone with open arms!
