Sé afè bouki, sé pa afè ti-malis!

Sé bé-bèl, sé pédi tan, sé pa pwatik, sé pa pwodiktf, sé pa wantab, sé pa ékonomik.

Sé moune kap joué atistikman, sé pa moune kap fè aktivité pou fè viv mézoné-li é pou fè kob.

Les stipes (faux-troncs) de bananier sont plus rentables en agriculture quand ils (le mot est masculin) entrent dans la composition de compost ou quand après dépiautage et hachage et broyage ils servent de paillis.

Ils servaient (j'utilise le passé vu ma vie actuelle en diaspora) valablement en construction comme toit des maisons.

Si ma mémoire est bonne le terme en ayisyin était "tash".

Enfin dans certains pays africains ces "tash" assemblés servent de nattes, de nappes, de clôtures avec des tuteurs et aussi comme éléments de décoration.

Sur un fond noir ces "tash" de couleur jaune donnent un effet boeuf.

Les artisans, les artistes les découpent en motifs animaux, floraux ou autres et les collent sur un tissu en fond noir et réalisent ainsi des éléments décoratifs vendus aux touristes.
