I really can appreciate this article because it is rare to find Haitian people willing to return to our native land.

Yo chita y'ale travay pou blan, yo pa pale angle byen, yo pa aprann pitit yo pale kreyol, yo di Ayiti gen kidnapping avec moun kap touye moun.

The problem is everywhere, it's probably worst here. I go to Haiti every year and never have I feared for my life. I am more alert in America then I am there.

In America, we deal with hormones in food making our children obese and unhealthy, police who harass our youth and a government that doesn't give two shits about us.

I say if I'm going to be mistreated, I'd rather be home
