"I even got married and everything, I am all grown now," LeToya Luckett said to Wyclef having now seen him for so long.

A grateful LeToya Luckett told ESSENCE what a big moment this was for her to see Wyclef again.
"He took us on, we were just starting, no one knew our names we were new to the Columbia building (referring to Columbia Records who signed up Destiny's child back in 1997), no one knew us and he (Wyclef) said I'll jump on that single."
"He made us all go into the booth together and sing the whole song, top to bottom, like non-stop. He was like, 'I don't care if you mess up. I don't care what happens. I just want you to feel.'"
Responding to ESSENCE question: What stood out to you about what stood out to you about Destiny's child, Wyclef said: "When I heard them... When I was hearing the music, I felt like there's a raw energy about them that no one was capturing yet."
LeToya Luckett recalled how big it was for Wyclef to go on tour with Destiny's Child. "That was big," she said.
"Thank you, Thank you," LeToya Luckett said as she hugged Wyclef Jean.
