There is a lot of cockfighting going on in the haitian community.

We fight amongst ourselves
our kids live with the shame
while the world is laughing at us

It's like a cockfight...

If it does not stop, we all loose

You will be dead and your kids will pick up where you left off.

Do not listen to anyone who make a few bucks

Just because you are not blessed with an education is not a reason
to just sit there and listen to people who constantly remind you
of how stupid and uneducated you are.

Anyone who is smart enough to clean toilets and wash dishes
to send their kids to college is smart enough for me.

Please, don't let anybody tell you "You're stupid but I love you!"

Haiti is a mess today because the previous generations did not take
care of their business.

My mother and my father took great care of their business:

They gave up their pride so that I can be a man today

As a man, it's my responsability to make sure my kids have a country

So I call upon my generation.

Let's clean this place up. Our parents sent us to school,
let us show them what we learned.
