Shayne Gilbert, a United Nations worker in Haiti from New Zealand predicts that more people are going to die in Haiti and the country will suffer more heartache simply because the United Nations haven't done enough.

Really?

In an interview with a New Zealand TV station, he says:

Everything we [The Untied Nations] do is on worst-case scenario, and if it's worst-case scenario, we haven't done enough.

It's just people are just going to die...

...The population were living in their slum area, they went to this tented city knowing that the NGOs would come and provide them with food and stuff at a certain point. They'd get that then they'd go back to their slum.

Every year during the hurricane season in Haiti many people die, that was before we had 10% of the population displaced and living in makeshift tents.

How bad will it be this year?

At this point we should HOPE for the best but EXPECT the very worse.

What enemy in Haiti is a threat to the UN War machine.

Why not have bulldozers and construction material to start cleaning ruble and clearing waterways?

These UN troops are in Haiti to train for more violent places - not there to help
