New chilean president Sebastian Pinera has litterally stopped the inflow of Haitians to Chile. As of April 16th 2018, all Haitians traveling to Chile require a tourist visa.. The only problem is, ONLY 2 visas have been granted to Haitians thus far.

I visited my cousin in Florida a couple of weeks ago and he told me about his plan to visit the Citadelle Laferriere this summer. His wife is African-American and she is truly amazed by Haiti's off-road terrain adventures.

Spirit Airlines begins flights from Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) to Cap-Haitien International Airport in Haiti. Fly Fort Lauderdale to Cap Haitien and Save Big, the airline company says on their web site.

The Dominican Republic has decided to reverse its decision to increase VISA costs to Haitians from about $200US to $350US following a meeting with Haitian senate president Joseph Lambert and Chamber of Deputes president Gary Bodeau.
