Air Travel - United Airlines Changes its policy to prevent you from getting kicked off your seat
Good news for Haitian-American Travelers... United Airlines is changing its policy on booking crew on flights following an incident where a passenger was dragged off an overbooked plane.
David Dao, a United airline passenger, suffered a concussion, a broken nose and lost two front teeth last week Sunday after he was forcibly removed from a flight to make way for a United crew member.
The airline said it will make sure that off-duty crew members traveling on its aircraft are allocated seats at least one hour before departure to avoid United customers being forced to leave their seats on the flight after boarding.
United Airlines does not have flights to Haiti but there is no question that Haitians Americans who use the airline are worried about being dragged off a plane for no reason.
What do you think about that?
