South Florida's Most Wanted Fugitive Arrested in Haiti

If you think you can commit a crime in the United States then go hide in Haiti you have another thing coming... A Haitian man, Wesnel Isaac, who is wanted for murder, kidnapping and robbery in South Florida was hiding in Haiti until recently...

Isaac was arrested in Carrefour by Haiti's National Police Saturday 10 Mar 2014 and by Thursday, U.S. Marshals came to Haiti, picked him up and repatriate him back to Fort Myers USA where he will answer for his crimes.

Back in 13 Nov, 2013, The U.S. Marshals Service added Wesnel Isaac to its 15 Most Wanted fugitive list. They reported that Esnel is a documented gang member and alleged enforcer for the Haitian street gang Zoe Pound. He is wanted by the Lee County Sheriff's Office in Florida for multiple violent offenses including triple homicide, attempted homicide, kidnapping, home invasion and felon in possession of a firearm.

The recent apprehension of Wesnel Isaac in Carrefour, located at a few miles of Port-au-Prince by Haiti's National Police and placed in the hands of U.S Marshalls sent a strong signal to Haitian-Americans and Haitian Nationals residing inn the United States regarding the heavy reach of the U.S Government in Haiti.

The current Haitian Government has always made it easy to Haitian Officials to not give safe haven to common core criminals that violated U.S Laws. Mr. Isaac, an alleged member of Zoe Pound, a defunct street gang that was active in the street of Miami Little Haiti had made its marks in the law enforcement communities by spreading a killing rampage in the community.
