How Many Gallons of Gasoline in a Barrel of Crude Oil?

Every time someone purchases a gallon of Diesel in Haiti, the government loses 71 Haitian gourdes (0.76 US dollars)

How some the government is loosing money?

It's a simple answer, the Haitian government has been subsidizing fuel for a long time. Add to that the Haitian currency that has lost all its value compared to the US dollar, the currency used to pay for imported petroleum products.

The price of Gasoline is so low in our country that the government loses money each and every time a gallon of fuel is bought anywhere in the country. To make matters worse, if the govt dares raise the price, it will be more trouble in paradise.

And you wonder why the State of Haiti is so broke!
