Haiti School Principal complains he's not been nominated in 4 years of running the school, NO "Lettre de Nomination"

One of my neighbors in Haiti, let's call him Pierre, he is a local school principal (directeur de l'école). Imagine my surprise when principal Pierre tells me that, for the past 4 years that he's been managing the school as the principal, he's only been paid the salary of a school teacher.

Apparently Pierre was nominated or he got the job to manage the school as the "directeur" of the school, he has been doing it, but he never received his "lettre de nomination" from the Ministry of Education.

Without this "lettre de nomination," Pierre will never be paid the salary of a "directeur de l'école."

There are many cases like that in the Haitian school system. Teachers who teach, year after year, and they don't have a letter of nomination. School principals who are managing a school but they've never been nominated by the Ministry of Education as a principal.

Amazingly, these men and women wake everyday and they go to work. They have to educates the future generation of Haiti.

What do you think about that?

Haiti Nouvelles says...
