Haiti: Aristide Day In Court, ALL Street Protests Banned
The Haiti National police warns the public that all protest are prohibited because police will be busy providing security for Aristide as he travels by caravan from his home and back.
Will the people obey this direct order?
The associated press reports...
"With the police ban on demonstrations, there were worries about possible street clashes. Thousands of Aristide's supporters are expected to show up outside the courthouse and rally on his behalf, which could lead to a confrontation with police."
Hmmm... What do you think about all this?

I believe educating the anticipated protesters would have been better.
Advocating peaceful protest would be a better choice and that is mainly the job of the the leadership of Lavalas or any other political parties.
I believe that's how a democracy is supposed to function.
Banning any groups or a political party is dangerous in my opinion.
