Vitamin Supplements: Omega-3 Fish Oil, Vitamin C, Calcium with Vitamin D

Did you know? These vitamins and supplements may be good for another 3 to 5 years after the expiration date.

The expiration date on a bottle of vitamins or supplements is the last day that they will be at their highest level of potency.

So it's not en expiration date at all, it's just the manufacturer telling you that they can successfully guarantee the quality of a product up until that date. In other words, whatever is listed on the bottle, it will be at that strength at the time of expiration.

So what if you loose a little bit of strength in your vitamin C pill, you can still continue to drink it after the expiration date. So don't rush to buy another bottle.

Of course the manufacturer would be happier if you did that.

Good read. Expiration dates for the most part are for the stupid.

The dates on meds an vitamins are arbitrarily 1 year.

If food doesn't pass the sight or sniff test, throw it out. Otherwise it's good. Fuck expiration
