Do you prioritize your everyday activities over your health?
Walking 30 minutes a day can help you lose weight
I have to tell you how guilty I feel when my doctor tells me: "you have to get out every day and walk for at least 30 minutes," something I know that I have to do and something that I hardly ever do because everything else seems more important than getting off my butt to go for a 30 minute walk. you keep putting it off until one day, the bell rings and it's that or a life of illness and discomfort.
Suddenly my doctor tells me my blood pressure is too high and I have this wake up call.
Leve chak maten, al mache tande pitit! (go for a walk everyday, don't wait for your doctor to tell you this.)
I do eat healthy thank God! In Haiti, if you eat the things that come from the Earth, it is not difficult to eat healthy as long as you tell the people cooking for you to stop using salt as though it is a spice. But waking up every day and going for a walk, I've been ignoring it. Yes I am guilty!
So I will and wake up every morning and go for at least a 30 minute walk even if I have to inform you a little bit later in the day.
Hope you don't mind.
