Answer: My advice to young Haitian writers:

  • Work, work, work!
  • Don't just depends on your talent to hope to conquer the literary world.
  • Be patient, study, read.
  • Be humble!
  • And one more time: Work on your style every single day!
  • Don t get discourage if an Editing House rejects your work.
  • Try again, and again, and again!
  • Think of the examples of Marcel Proust, of Gustave Flaubert, of Jean Metellus.
