How Many Gallons of Gasoline in a Barrel of Crude Oil?

I even hear members of the Haitian media saying: "Gen 42 gallon nan yon barril" (there are 42 gallons in a barrel) but they do not break it down and let the public know that gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, LPG, and other products all come from that barrel.

I am not an expert in this topic but I do think that the people of Haiti really need to understood how gasoline is produced instead of being mislead with the number 42...
