Exercising in the morning on an empty stomach helps to boost your metabolism and lose weight faster.

Actually, I was reading an article on the health and fitness section of an online magazine and it said exercising on an empty stomach is the secret to weight loss.

By loosing weight, you mean you want to lose fat right?

If you want to exercise for fat loss, then exercising early in the morning before you eat is the best time because your body is in a fasted state, that means, everything you ate the day before is completely digested, your body's insulin level is stabilized. At that time your body will used stored fat as energy if you decide to exercise like going for a power walk.

Keep in mind though, by working out in a fasted state to loose weight we are not talking about doing a strenuous workout. what I recommend is aerobic activities such as walking, jogging, swimming or cycling.

If you start feeling dizzy during your exercise that means you are working out too hard and your body's insulin level has dropped too low.

I live in Haiti and there are a lot of mountains where I live. so each morning before I eat my first meal, I go for a long walk which lasts for about 45 minutes going uphill and downhill and suddenly my belly fat which I've been carrying most of my life is slowly melting away.
