Plane Crash at Haiti International Airport, 121 Passengers, No Injuries

The engine of a Brazilian military airplane carrying 121 UN peacekeepers caught fire during takeoff Sunday afternoon at Haiti Toussaint Louverture International airport. No injuries reported.

All flights in an out of Haiti have been canceled due to the incident. Haiti radio reports that some of the incoming flights to Haiti airport were rerouted to the neighboring Dominican Republic.

Sunday afternoon, just before 3:00, the engine of an airplane of the Brazilian Air Force and on the tarmac of the international airport Port-au-Prince.
