TPS For Haitians - Florida State Senator Daphne Campbell calls on Congress to extend TPS for Haitians for at least 18 months
A legislation sponsored by State Senator Daphne Campbell which calls on President Donald Trump, the US Secretary of State, and the Secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security to extend Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians.

This legislation passed its first Florida Senate committee on Thursday.
SM 442, which urges the extension of TPS for at least 18-months beyond the pending January 22, 2018 deportation deadline, won the backing of the Senate Military & Veterans Affairs Committee by a vote of 6-2.
