Plane Crash In Haiti, 3 People Dead

Breaking News From Haiti

The plane was trying to land in Cap Haitien during a rain storm, officials say, but they crashed into a field outside Cap Haitien.

3 people died, two pilots, one from the Dominican Republic, one from Mexico, and one passenger, a Vietnamese woman.

The airplane, a Beechcraft 99 from the airline Salsa d'Haiti, was the last flight of the day to Cap-Haitien from Port-au-Prince.

The plane has the capacity to carry two pilots and 15 passengers but only one passenger was on board that flight.
