Rafael Blasco - Stole Haiti Charity Money

As you were probably aware, lots and lots of people around the world were out there collecting money for poor Haiti... Now you know where some of that money went...

According to news reports, Blasco put pressure on his employees into handing out subsidies to the Cyes Foundation, a fake NGO which siphoned off the funds into real estate purchases in Spain's Valencia region.

I'm so glad that he was caught and I think he should go to jail for a very long time. It's so disgusting that a person uses a disaster such as the earthquake to steal money from unsuspecting people.

Especially a politican whose salary is paid by the taxes of the citizens he is supposed to be representing.

For him to use his position for corrupt purposes is very shameful.
