Haiti Prepares to host CARIFESTA XII, the big Caribbean Festival of Arts

Several govenment officials are out there checking on the status of the locations where the event will take place. Kiosk Occide Jeanty in Champs-de-Mars and the place des artistes are some of the spots that needs to be ready for the event.
Haiti Minister of Tourism said the tourism sector, particularly the hotel sector, is ready to welcome some 2,000 people representing various countries who will take part in this major event, including delegations from CARICOM that will be present for this event.
About CARIFESTA: Caribbean Festival of Arts, commonly known as CARIFESTA, is an international multicultural event organized on periodic basis by the countries of the Caribbean. The main purpose is to gather artists, musicians, authors, and to exhibit the folkloric and artistic manifestations of the Caribbean and Latin American region.

I do not think that the government of Haiti should have been allowed to organize the XII Edition of Carifesta 2015, although Haiti is in dire needs of such international venues to express its arts.
Due to the indifference going on over the inhumane treatments accepted from mobs from DR next door, president Martelly along with his Minister of Tourism do not really demonstrated that they are against the hardworking Haitians folks that are currently fleeing vandalism, verbal murder threats from the paid ignorant domonican mobs ...
