Caribbean travel plans have been thrown into chaos as flights are disrupted by Hurricane Irma sweeping across the region towards the US coast, the BBC reported.
American Airlines, which travels to Haiti on a daily basis, has canceled several flights to the Caribbean Flights because of Hurricane Irma.
Puerto Rico, a major flight transfer hub for the region, has declared a state of emergency. It's going to be a mess for Caribbean travelers this week
