About Ecole Elie Dubois...
Not too far from the National Palace in Haiti is Ecole Elie Dubois, an institution that has been educating young Haitian minds since 1913.
Ecole Elie Dubois was named after Haiti national education Minister, François-Xavier Elie Dubois. It started out as an all girl vocational boarding school run by La Congregation des Filles de Marie (Filles De Marie Paridaens).
Elie Dubois high school suffered severe damages during the January 12 2010 Haiti earthquake. Reconstruction of the school has already started.
