Haiti Crime - Haitian Police want to punish family and friends who harbor Criminals

Recently, Haitian police in Petionville Haiti arrested a man accused of being the leader in a network of robbers robbing houses in Petionville, Perlerein and Thomassin, sometimes in broad daylight.
Something different happened in this arrest. Investigators also arrested them suspects girlfriend who they say is using and enjoying these stolen goods everyday fully aware that they are stolen.
According to a morning news report from a popular Haitian radio station, the Haitian police plans to arrest not only the criminal from now on but also his close relatives who know about his activities but keep their mouths shut while directly benefiting from the heist.

Un problème qui existe en Haiti en termes de crime et de punition est le fait que les criminels connus sont hébergés en toute sécurité par leur famille et leurs amis qui, à leur tour, profitent des fruits de ce sale boulot.

Récemment, la police à Petionville a arrêté un homme accusé d'être le chef d'un réseau de voleurs qui volent dans des maisons à Petionville, Perlerein et Thomassin, parfois en plein jour.
