How the program works...

Thousands of bike will be parked in hundreds of locations around the city. Members get unlimited 45 minute trips. Not a member? you can get a pass for 24 hours or 7 days for unlimited 30 minute trips.

Simply undock a bike and ride it to any other bike station around the city to another docking station.

Haitian diaspora reactions...

Some of my Haitian friends in New York I talk to welcome the idea. The general argument is that the city is congested, it is not easy to find parking space. With a bike that you can pickup anywhere and park anywhere else, that makes it easy to get around the city. Plus it's good for your health.

Paul says...

I live in Brooklyn.

In my opinion, drivers in New-York city are way too aggressive for me to be riding a bike there.

New-York is still on top in the nation when it comes to road rage. If that ever changes ...

then, I'll reconsider riding a bike
