Update: Around 12:15pm Thursday Radio Caraibes journalist reports:

"A nurse from the General Hospital called us many times to report that at least 20 people in the hospital are victim of some type of gas inhalation.

We don't know the specific about the gas but the incident happened in the back or Electricite d'Haiti (EDH) at Rue Magazin de l'Etat.

Already there 20 people who inhaled that gas are in critical condition.

At least one person died at the scene of the incident, not in the hospital"
