This movement which started out as a hashtag, #PetroCaribeChallenge, on social media and spread out to the streets of Haiti continues on. This street protest started at Carrefour Aeroport and ended in Champs-de-Mars.
While it looks like just cause for the people of Haiti to ask government officials for a "compte rendu" (detailed account) of what happened to money spent, especially borrowed money that Haitians will have to pay back, others are saying that there is a political arm in this movement.
