Haiti: NO Gas at the pumps despite BMPAD reassurance
There is a big gas shortage at the pumps in various parts of Haiti despite government officials saying there is gas available in Haiti.
This gas shortage began since January 4 2019. Three days later, Ignace St-Fleur, the director general of BMPAD, the institution responsible for managing the oil issue in the country, said this is only a speculation of some people of bad faith to spread panic among the population.
Despite the declaration of Ignace St-Fleur, many drivers are still complaining on Haitian radio they cannot fill their gas tanks.
