The money transfers to Haiti coming from the Diaspora will be depleted within 10 to 15 years, find out why

During a conversation with my cousin in New York, he predicted that the money transfers coming from the Haitian diaspora in the form of remittances may be depleted within the next 10 to 15 years and he give a very good reason for that.

Back in the days 500 Haitian Gourdes was worth 100 US dollars, How much is it worth today?

What reason you ask?

Here's what my cousin said:

"It is our parents who are sending money to Haiti right now," my cousin said, "it's not even us."

Keep in mind, me and my cousin, we came to America at a very young age. We grew up in the United States but we are more or less attached to Haiti.

"Every once in awhile, some of us send money to a girlfriend in Haiti, maybe to a family member but at least we send some money." my cousin said.

All the Money Transfer Options to Haiti: Western Union, CAM Transfer, and Unitransfer and more...

"The reason we do that is because, from time to time, even though we grew up in the United States, from time to time we go back there we are still connected with some people in Haiti but what about our children?"

The Haitian American kids who are born in the United States, we as parents cannot send them to Haiti. We cannot bring them to Haiti because of insecurity and all kinds of other reasons.

And because of that, Haitian Americans born in the United States have absolutely no connection with Haiti or anyone there.

Take these new young Haitian American millennials, they will never try to even connect with anyone in Haiti because all they hear about the country is that Haiti is no good, there are kidnappers in Haiti, people are killing each other, things are not working out.

None of these will interest the young Haitian American millennial to go to Haiti.

"So the remittances that our parents were sending, over one billion dollars which has reduced with our generation, will not exist in our children's generation because, like I said, they have no connection to Haiti whatsoever and it's sad," my cousin said.

Money Transfers To Haiti says...

Nan 10 a 15 ans, volume transfer lajan ki soti nan diaspora a rantre Haiti pwal diminye seryezman.

Rezon an se paske se premye generasyon ki kite peyi a ki plis voye lajan.

Pitit yo preske pa voye lajan Haiti.

Pitit pitit yo pa voye menm paske yo pa gen okenn koneksyon ak peyi
