A new law has been proposed in the Dominican Republic parliament to prevent Haitian illegal immigrants from renting houses.

Dominican Deputy Radhames Gonzalez said that this piece of legislation seeks to prevent some areas of his country from becoming ghettos with the support of Dominicans who house illegal immigrants.
