If the seeds are planted properly...

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and debts are high
When you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When we might have won, had we stuck it out,
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow,
You might succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems afar,
So stick it out when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

If the seeds are planted properly and nourished constantly, the plant will grow straight and blossom as expected.

To become successful in anything in life requires family influence, parental guidance, national pride, and traditions.

It requires great ambitions and self-respect.

You have to set up long-term goals and you have to work hard to achieve them. When it comes to quality of life, you should never settle for less.

What you do in life, is what you're considered to be.

I understand that most Haitian families cannot afford to send their children to college as they complete high school.

for some kids, the plan is very simple: "Get a job and help with the bills or get out and find your own place to stay."

This kind of remarks made to the children usually comes from non-professional background families.

Growing up in America

When my family entered the United Stated of America in the early sixties, we were a total of six children.

My parents were staying in one room at the Hotel for six months and their wages was $1.25/hr.

The older one in my family was responsible for the younger ones while our parents were at work.

Soon we moved to a small apartment in Manhattan and five years later through great sacrifices and with God guidance my parents bought a three families building in Brooklyn.

My parents used to mention to us that we came to New York very young.

They wanted every one of us to become professionals.

Our goals were setup for us to be Doctors, Lawyers, Engineer, Teachers or Businessmen.

Those were our parents goals for us and they were to be fulfilled by every single one of us.

My parents could not afford to pay for college, and there were no financial aid available for black students who sought college Education.

Due to the lack of financial support for college, we were forced to work by day and attend college at night.

There were no high level Vocational & Technical High School back in those days as there are now.

My parents could not afford new clothes for us on a $1.25/hr wage.

We were happy to receive whatever they could give us. Educations was our #1 priority. My parents used to say to us "do not be misled by temptations, do not envy your fellowmen for what they have".

We were taught to work hard to be successful in life for no one would care when we're in need of help.

So we followed their foot steps, we worked very hard.

Thanks to our parents who planted the seeds in our minds, who nourished us until we reached the age to accept our own responsibilities.

We thanks God for guiding us to choose our friends and not do drugs, not steal, not be disrespectful to older people, respect every religion and not judge others.

If God would punish me, that would be for loving women. I live to love women.

I was taught to be human and to show compassions toward brothers and sisters in Christ; and ask them to show sign of where they are about.

We are here today on the surface of this earth and gone tomorrow.

To show respect, compassions and humanity toward others are called social values.

Right at this moment, people in Haiti are dying of tuberculosis, HIV among others diseases.

An epidemic very soon will occur in Haiti, not even the very rich ones would be able to prevent of its Infections.

Every one is calling on God to rescue Haiti.

We better Wake-up and start to smell the coffee.

God does not like to do your work for you just like everyone else.

We better fix Haiti before it 's too late.

Haiti is becoming a sinking Titanic slowly but surely.

The time is now for all Haitians to start seriously thinking about Haiti.

She cannot sustain an embargo if the democrats occupy the white house on the next presidential elections.

I rest my case.
