In an article published on Virgin.com, Sir Richard Branson gave an example of a Haitian beuty products company called Kreyol Essence who uses Palma Christi Castor Oil (Lwil Maskriti) as a main product... "Their goal is to plant over 40,000 castor oil plants (Pye Maskriti) and create 300 jobs over the next three years," Branson says.

On a side note: Let me congratulate Yve-Car Momperousse of Kreol Essence, a wonderful young lady I once met a few years ago, for this initiative. Congrats on your business and I am glad it is benefiting not just you but Haiti as well...

"By linking trees with grassroots entrepreneurs, Richard Branson writes, "we can break the deforestation cycle and develop Haiti's struggling economy."
