It is so wonderful a group of Haitians decided to see a vision for Haiti.

You guys are greatly appreciated, and keep on moving up guys, even though we're still behind in so many characteristics, compare to so many islands in the Caribbean.

But, we're aheading the right way. My suggestion as a haitian who would like to see some great projects in the country; is by opening some tourists shopping malls around the resorts in the country.

Unfortunately Martin, you cannot rewrite history.

As unspeakable as it was, Germany cannot erase the Third Reich.

The memories of Francois Duvalier would have faded, however, if his successors have done better.

After Duvalier, we started to forget what we should have remembered and, dangerously, went back to the atrocities, assassinations, cult of personality we have

Francois Duvalier wasn't one of the haitian hero, he was one of the sucker and a killer, his name has no place anywhere in the country, that's the main reason buried him where no one can find his resting place' he was

I cannot agree more with Mr Salvant.

I've written about it once. I might get a copy and will paste it to this page. I gave such examples as Charles de Gaule airport in Paris.

JFK in N.Y etc...

like Cite Soleil bares the wrong name. The real name is Cite Simone O. Duvalier.

And I am neither duvalieriste nor lavalasse but I am a real Haitian and a free

Are you talking about the Dr Francois Duvalier International Airport?

If one wants to name an airport Toussaint Louverture, you must built one. We cannot rewrite history.

We have not build one since this one was built with the haitian money, not even a cent from the International Community.

i agree with you and i strongly believe that Haiti will be once again the heart of the Caribbean, but politicians in Haiti must invest into the Haitian education more so that they can understand that they do not have to create an atmosphere of violence while their own leader is not president.

They need to learn not to destroy what a present or an ex-president has done. every other civilized and democratic Countries in the world have done that. Why not Haitians?
