There is fear growing among Haitian consumers of a 'PLASTIC chicken' out there and, because of that, many consumers are making the switch from imported boxed frozen chicken to the live Haitian chicken (poule pays / poule dur)... Do they have a good reason to be scared? Keep reading...

News seems to travel faster in Haiti these days whether this news is real of fake.

So far there is no warning from the Haitian ministry of public health that such a product, a plastic chicken, actually exists on the Haitian chicken market but that's not enough to stop the scared consumers from thinking otherwise.
