Haitian Lawmakers meet Dominican President Danilo Medina to discuss Dominican Visa Increase in Haiti
Senator Joseph Lambert and Depute Gary Bodeau met with Dominican Republic president Danilo Medina to discuss, among other things, the potential increase of the price of Dominican Visa in Haiti.
After the meeting, Depute Gary Bodeau told the media they addressed common interest to both countries with the Dominican President, issues such as migration, trade and the cost of visas Haitians must pay to enter the Dominican Republic.
"Regarding the cost of entry visas to the Dominican Republic which could increase according to our information," Depute Gary Bodeau said, "the Dominican President has promised to investigate and take appropriate actions."
