There are many Haitians in New York who earned their living driving taxicabs. These days, Haitian cab drivers are struggling to make money because of the Coronavirus outbreak ravaging the state.

Some of these Haitian taxi drivers have been calling local Haitian radio stations complaining and wondering how they are going to pay the bills this month and the months to come because they are not making money out there.
Coronavirus keeps spreading in New York state and other states where many Haitian-Americans live and it doesn't seem to be getting better.
New York state is the hardest-hit state in the country by Coronavirus and the Haitian taxi drivers are afraid not only to go out and risk getting infected but they are afraid how they will pay the bills, feed the family and continue to make money transfers to family members back in Haiti who depend on these remittances.
