Over one hundred thousand Haitians left Haiti to go to Chile hoping it would be their land of opportunity only to be disappointed at what they discovered. Many of these Haitians want to go back home but the money for the trip back is not easy to come by.

A recent news report revealed that the majority of young Haitians who emigrated to Chile are unemployed mainly because, due to recent immigration changes in the country, they no longer process the proper documentation to work in the country,

Some complain they cannot change their status in the country due to a problem due to the fact that they cannot receive the necessary documents from Haitian authorities.

It's been reported the the Chilean government is now penalizing employers who hire undocumented workers. that's more bad news for these Haitian migrants far away from home.

Many want to come back to Haiti but that's not going to happen anytime soon. Who's going to pay for the trip back which costs over $1000 dollars US. whick is equivalent to over 650,000 chilean pesos?
