Haiti Tourism: Hotel Mont Joli Cap-Haitien closed its doors due to insecurity
Mont Joli Hotel in the city of Cap-Haitien had decided to closed its doors for security reasons. So far, this on a temporary basis, Hotel manager Steve Mc Intosh told a news outlet Friday
One of the properties of Mont Joli Hotel was hit by stone and bottle Mid october and caused a great deal of panic among the staff guests.
Mont Joli Hotel Cap_Haitien was also attack recently by individuals with knives in the midst of political street protests asking for the resignation of the Haitian President. See Anti-government Protests in Haiti.
This is a big hit for the Haitian tourism sector that is already suffering from a lack of visitors in the country which leaves most hotel rooms empty.
