Basketball Star Dwight Howard Is Going To Haiti

Orlando Magic basketball player Dwight Howard announced his plans to visit Haiti later this month but first, Dwight Howard is hosting a concert for Haiti on September 15 at the House of Blues in Orlando FL.

Also Co-hosting this special concert for Haiti is Tichina Arnold from the TV sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris".

Then later this month, the basketball superstar will lend a helping hand to the people of Haiti.

Here is an official statement from his :

Dwight Howard will travel to Haiti in September to visit organizations working to alleviate the distress of children in Haiti in the aftermath of the January earthquake.

The Dwight Howard Fund will specifically support programs that address educational and recreational needs of Haitian youths.

Dwight Howard is a four-time NBA All-Star Basket ball player and a center for the Orlando Magic, a professional basketball team based in Orlando, Florida.

Yeah you're right about "we need to visit Haiti more than them".

But the great thing for them is that they have the money to hire great security and bodyguards to protect them from the rich kidnappers who are trying to intimidate the Haitians abroad from going to Haiti so that they can steal their lands over time.
