Haiti Donates USD $20,000 To the Philippines

You often hear stories of countries donating to Haiti but how often do you hear stories of Haiti donating to others? Well read this... the Haitian Red Cross has just has just donated U.S. $20,000 to the Philippine Red Cross on behalf of the Haitian people due to passage of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philipines... Is this a great story or what?

Survivors of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines

As you are probably aware, the Philippines has recently been hit by their deadliest typhoon on record, typhoon Haiyan killing at least 5,235 people and leaving behind a trail of destruction.

At the the Red Cross and Red Crescent General Assembly in Sydney Australia, the Haitian red cross delivered a check of U.S. $20,000 to the Philippine Red Cross, A symbolic gesture to say to the Filipino people that the Haitian people are with you.

Haiti fè yon bèl jès mezanmi... Sa-w panse?

I read once in an article that, when you are a GIVER, whatever you need will be available for you. Haiti needs to transform itself into a GIVER...

Believe me, I really want to read more stories like "Haiti DONATES" and less of "Haiti RECEIVES..."

What to you think about that?

Acts 20:35 - In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "

It would be very intelligent for Haitians to change their statute from "Receiving Beggars" to "Giving Donors".

It is clear that by virtue of the principle of "Universal Law", a GIVER will always have something to give, whereas the BEGGAR is always in the habit/need of receiving like a cemetery, a bottomless pit.
